Victoria is a city that loves dogs! You can bring your furry friend with you to many stores and coffee shops, as well as enjoy their company at outdoor seating areas. Most residents in Victoria own dogs, and there are plenty of dog parks, pet stores, and grooming facilities for your pet’s needs. From September 30 to June 1, dogs are welcome on most beaches. Some newer condos even have dog washes for a convenient cleanup after a beach or park adventure.

If you plan to travel by taxi with your dog, it is allowed, but for dogs weighing over 20lbs, you may need to book a minivan or van instead of a regular taxi.
